Stories, satire and writing from Christopher Harris. Home of the fictitional Sussex village of Denham, its characters, its football club and the books growing out of them.
For Korean superstar Jin Seo-jun, being holed up in the Savoy was not his idea of fun. Away from the cameras, his evenings were increasingly spent behind closed doors at The Den, obsessing about football with Piotr and Dean. The more time he spent at Denham Phoenix, the clearer it became that pop stardom had never been the life he really wanted. And very soon, he was about to make that abundantly clear to the rest of the world.
The circus surrounding Korean superstar Jin Seo-jun has arrived at Denham Phoenix, but somehow the chaos never comes. On the pitch, Seo-jun is proving frighteningly good; off it, the club is beginning to realise that fame brings problems as well as money. As Denham tries to rediscover its footballing priorities, Economical Tony turns his attention to the troublesome field next door. And the more he investigates Pear Tree Farm, the more suspicious he becomes.
